Η Κόστα Ρίκα αφαίρεσε με νόμο στις 15 Φεβρουαρίου τον φόρο 10% στις εισαγόμενες μπύρες που δημιουργούσε διακρίσεις σε βάρος της μπύρας της ΕΕ. Ο συγκεκριμένος φόρος είχε θέσει τις μπύρες της ΕΕ σε μειονεκτική θέση καθιστώντας τις πιο ακριβές από τις τοπικές μπύρες.
Αυτή η στιγμή η βότκα είναι το πιο δημοφιλές ποτό στις ΗΠΑ, κάτι που μάλλον θα ανατραπεί τη χρονιά που έρχεται.
