Σημαντική πρωτοβουλία από την Αθηναϊκή Ζυθοποιία για την ενίσχυση του πρωτογενούς τομέα, σε συνεργασία με το Γεωπονικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών.
Με συνολικές επενδύσεις περίπου 380 εκατ. ευρώ το νέο ζυθοποιείο στην επαρχία Γκουανγκντόνγκ που βρίσκεται στα νότια της Κίνας, είναι το 27ο ζυθοποιείο της Carlsberg σε κινεζικό έδαφος.
Έσβησε οριστικά τους ζυθοβραστήρες της η Spencer Brewery, του St. Joseph's Abbey στη Μασαχουσέτη.
